Clients with no legal capacity

If the client had sufficient capacity at some point in the past, they may have appointed someone with Power of Attorney.

A Power of Attorney is a legal document where one person, the "granter", authorises another person "the attorney" to do certain specified things on their behalf.

It will generally be easiest to use the Attorney to make decisions on the client's behalf, provided that the Attorney already has sufficient powers.
